This course is aimed at healers who have already completed a two years' spiritual healing course recognised by the Harry Edwards Healing College, who wish to 'transfer' to become a Harry Edwards Healer. It can also be used as a refresher course for those who have not practised healing for some time.
Enrolment on the course will be subject to an interview by one of the college tutors.
The course comprises 3 weekend modules, followed by a Panel Day, plus two 1:1 tutorial sessions (after Modules 1 and 3). The course will take approximately 6 months to complete from start to final Panel Day (depending on scheduling of the panel day).
Requirements of Students
Students will need to complete the following:
- 20 hours of healing, all completed under the supervision of the Tutors or the Sanctuary's healers. Includes supervised healing during course modules. Letters, emails, zoom and telephone healing under supervision from a qualified healer. In addition to this 3 case studies to be completed , seeing each patient 3 times.
- Read at least 2 books including one of Harry Edwards' books and complete 2 book reviews
- Submit a portfolio made up of homework and feedback: tutorial feedback, case study forms, book reviews, healing practice observation form and development journal
- Regular volunteer hours at the Sanctuary after qualification.

The following content will be covered on each module, as well as at least 2 hours of healing practice each weekend. Some topics will be covered in depth, others discussed as a short reminder for students or with pointers to aspects of the homework.
Module 1

- Channel for healing and what do we mean by healing?
- Healing vs cure
- The role of intention in the Healing Act (Dr Emoto's research)
- Grounding, centering and attunement
- Distant healing
- The subltle energies, chakras and the aura

Homework:
Students will be required to read the Module notes on the above topics as well as the topics below, and answer the homework questions, which are sent to the Tutor for marking:

- Anatomy and physiology, including the endocrine system, nervous system - sympathetic and parasympathetic
- Perceptions of the effects of healing and the placebo effect
- Emotions and their effects
- Visualisation and meditation

- Healing letters at the Sanctuary
- Developing empathic language and listening skills
